About The Orion
The Orion Guest House is situated in Middelburg, halfway between Pretoria and Lydenburg, on the Panorama Route. This is the gateway to the Kruger National Park, Swaziland and Mozambique. A perfect Bed & Breakfast with that country feel with rooms that feel antique but are distinctly modern. Your home away from home.
Our secure and spacious rooms all have private access to the apartments with showers, air-conditioning, tea and coffee station, hair dryers, television (rooms: Antares and Bellatrix are offered with DSTV-essential. Rooms, Altair, Vega, Castor, Mira, Spica, Rigel, Sirius and Capella are offered with OpenView channels). Each room has a mini fridge stocked with soft drinks for your enjoyment. (Rooms: Antares, Vega, Mira, Bellatrix, Spica, Rigel and Sirius are offered with microwaves for our comfort. Wireless internet is available in all our rooms.
Meals are served in a spacious dining room facing a beautiful Koi-pond with running water features, and a cold plunge pool that overflows into a relaxing crystal clear swimming pool. A private lounge with DSTV and a built-in braai/fireplace is perfect for any social gathering. Secure parking with remote access to apartments is available.
